An abyss...

There's a new initiative afoot with the whole emissions boon-doggle over the federally legislated zero-emissions for on-road diesel engines.

For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about, starting with on-road diesel engines for 2007 EPA regulatory standards have now culminated in the new 2010 EPA regulatory standards that have initiated new technology/systems put in place to turn on-road diesel truck motors into our nation's Ronco-esque air purifying machines. They take in air to contribute to the properties of internal combustion for fuel, and out the exhaust comes a hyper-cleaned compound "cleaner" than the air that went in...

Less the "evil" (unsightly) carbon compounds of normal spent fuel gases. That's right, now trucks actually clean the air exhaust of every living thing, not only other cars, but the carbon gases we exhale etc. etc. and actually expend into our atmosphere a new super "clean" exhaust...

But what is that really?

There is a balance in our atmosphere that has zero to do with humankind's by-products and natural existential contributions. A balance that includes carbon as a base compound found in every living organism on the face of the earth. But now the greeners in their superior enlightenment have concocted a scheme to demonize and eliminate carbon from our air... A compound mind you all living things need to survive and is a natural by product of all living organisms in their processes of life and not just one of thousands of compounds and byproducts of humankind, let alone the myriad of such elemental compounds generated by our energy/fuel consumption/demands.

The greeners in their "purely philanthropic" motives and ambitions (excuse me, I just threw-up in my mouth a bit) all the while pointing their fingers at us and decrying the fouls of our unbalancing of nature by our mere existential exploits are now intending and carrying out an actual imbalance of the natural compounds and gasses in our air and atmosphere by eliminating the bad (shall we say black evil looking like black rifles) gasses and orchestrating a true imbalance of the atmosphere as found in nature.

Moreover, not only are we removing it from a concentration so extremely minute in the area of parts per trillion (ppt, another current trend) to relegate extreme concentrations in newly invented machines that our Fedzilla is in on patent deals and bunco schemes of illicit highway robbery of regulatory demand for service shops and dealerships to become invested in with high-dollar DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) cleaning machines that remove the carbon deposits from the legislated/regulated requirements of new on-road diesel engines; carbon removing devices...

So now when we are not allowed to expend these compounds freely into the atmosphere, even though they exist naturally without our human existence anyway, we are somehow allowed to concentrate them exponentially into little closet like machines where a person is required to expose themselves to literally billions even trillions (sound familiar?) times higher levels of these bad/evil compounds, then vacuum/sweep them out into garbage cans, into the dumpsters of the industrial world and ship them off to landfills to be highly concentrated into our soils and ground water leeching systems in all of their superior infinite wisdom...

The mechanics and shops of the diesel world get to breath in a lifetimes worth of the evil black carbon in a week or two of work while the rest of the highway corridor traveling world gets to breath some arbitrarily imbalanced breakdown of natures atmosphere that we have zero understanding of long-term health and well-being effect on humans, or even short-term for that matter, which obviously and epitomically doesn't matter to those charged with the duty of such federal regulation because the corruption kick-backs of the politically correct popular trends is more expedient and profitable than is better judgment and common-sense...

So, the fallout, regardless of any intent supposed or real, is unbalancing the natural atmosphere by removing a natural compound deemed evil or dangerous arbitrarily by politically motivated injustices and the super-concentrated exposure to working class mechanics and technicians and shop personnel all across this country of the same compound so dangerous and volatile that it must be removed from our breathing air at once...

And these are the folks proselytizing for the totalitarian control of our nation's healthcare as we speak...

You do the math!!!

We have no clue what the new exhaust compounds and experimental fuel substitutes will do to our environment and personal health, but that doesn't matter because it's politically correct at the moment to be prejudiced/bigoted against evil black carbon...

We could be dooming the entirety of the human race to a disease or destruction cultivated from our own Useful Idiot ignorance at the hand of those who are suppose to be our public civil servant corps of sworn oath of duty taking public officials in initiatives of political power-mongering for personal gain...

Not the folks I want to charge with my health and medical needs!

By the way, how is turning a system of healthcare into legislation; law, reforming a system? A law is not a system, taking a system and writing into a law of the land; another system of penalty for misconduct which has zero to do with health and medicine, doesn't fix any of the problems of what is still arguably the very best healthcare system in the world, bar-none. How is turning a system, market, industry into a written law, a tool used to punish people who don't conform to governed society going to produce any solutions to the issues and problems that are prompting the ideology of reform?

How is taking a free market, an ideology and activity of meeting human needs into a law of the land; a regulation imposed to prevent, prohibit, and punish people who operate outside of written directives a way to fix anything? Why are legislators even allowed to be involved in a system rather than relegated to their actual responsibility of protecting us against human predators by making things like murder and rape against societal norm?

But I digress...

I thought other truckers might find it interesting to note how they and their market need are being arbitrarily regulated and legislated into a willing accomplice for the politically minded carpet-bagging agents of corruption and self-servitude all under the hooker-thin veils of ersatz enlightenment and self-aggrandized superiority for totalitarianism and fascism.

An' you thought it was just a damn truck...
